I really didn’t expect to ride 86 miles today. I really didn’t plan to climb through the Sepulveda pass into the lovely and fragrant San Fernando Valley. I would have eaten a better breakfast. I would have drunk three bottles of water yesterday, and I would have brought two bottles of Cytomax on the ride instead of one.

I was planning a quick run up to San Vicente Blvd, around the country club, then back home to do a little work this afternoon. Well. I didn’t get home until 4:00. And I’m a big piece of crispy, blackened around the edges, badly battered (not buttered) toast.

But I did manage some work anyway.

My God. I’m so tired I’m capitalizing.
