Krugman seems to think Trump is having a breakdown, and that may be correct. If so, it’s because he knows what’s coming. I still think he’ll weasel out of jail by resigning on medical grounds and getting pardoned; and bankruptcy is almost better than jail. Ignominy, that’s what I want. Time is running out for the resigning on medical grounds IMO. Maybe this behavior is probably a setup to resigning, but I don’t think it’s in Trump’s DNA to leave such an office under those means.

I’m in agreement with Keith Olbermann… that Trump literally feels he can do no wrong, while he’s self-destructing in front of all of us. He may have to be publicly arrested and taken out of office… and that’s if he doesn’t pull a Budd Dwyer in front of the cameras first.

It’s a dangerous, frightening situation. But of course e-mails and all that.

Gotta say huge kudos to LAPD SWAT, CIS, and some Hawthorne police. There was a murder suspect in a pursuit and he shot it out on the run. One officer was shot in the hip. The suspect was shot multiple times and transported for medical care. latimes.com

I went outside this evening to go to the store … yesterday’s hailstorm broke my car windshield.

Gaa. Call tomorrow to the insurance company. I’m guessing there isn’t anyone around here that can replace the windshield on a Smart (meaning off to the dealership in Denver). If the job takes more than a few hours, the dealership will deliver a loaner Smart anywhere in Colorado (so I would have them deliver it to Peetz, a tiny village on the Nebraska state line).

Trump would bargain with St Peter, but when push comes to shove he’ll take survival; he might even take a place in history but that would mean getting impeached and convicted, and I don’t think he’d survive that.

This is all speculation. Charles is likely right — it’s worse than we can imagine. And it WILL come out.

I’m not sure how Trump is “having a breakdown.” He isn’t behaving any differently than he has for a long time. His attacks on Twitter against others were going on long before he announced he was running for President.

As part of a young couple’s quest for YouTube fame, a 19-year-old woman shot at a book her boyfriend was holding against his chest, killing him at close range outside their northwestern Minnesota home.

Monalisa Perez was charged Wednesday with second-degree manslaughter in the shooting of her boyfriend, 22-year-old Pedro Ruiz III, Monday night in Halstad.

Perez, who is pregnant, appeared from jail by video at a Norman County District Court proceeding Wednesday. She posted $7,000 cash bail and was released late Wednesday afternoon.

I honestly don’t get how breakfast cooks don’t flip out and kill people all the fucking time. Dinner cooks traditionally cope via alcoholism & sleeping in late and I can wrap my head around traditional bakery work because they get up so early that they don’t really have to deal with people for the most part, but breakfast cooks get the worst of it from all angles.

As a lifelong resident of Colorado who has seen the weed industry grow like crazy the last few years there’s still the black market. It hasn’t really gone away, though legal weed has driven the prices down considerably with both legal and illicit sales.

And think about poor Utah! As of Saturday there’s fully legal cannabis on its western and eastern borders. I expect Utah to file some kind of lawsuit to the Supreme Court like Nebraska and Oklahoma has done against Colorado regarding legal cannabis.
