Tried watching Poor Things the other night. Went in with no prior knowledge.

Did anyone else get the vibe that this was really creepy soft core porn with a protagonist who has the mind of a 10 year old? My spouse heartily loathed the movie and we quit about 40 minutes in, apparently before she starts working at a brothel.

I’m not sure what sort of feminist message was supposed to be stated, but it sure felt like a lot of male gaze at Emma Stone’s boobs.
