Other examples:

1. Guy gets shot badly in one shoulder but is otherwise PERFECTLY FUNCTIONAL and can keep mowing down bad guys without missing a beat.

2. Bulletproof vests are basically impenetrable shields. Not only do they cause NO harm to the person being shot at, that person can bounce back IMMEDIATELY and resume chasing the villain(s).

3. The action hero who “rips out the I.V.” and leaves the hospital (against the doctors recommendation of course), being no worse for the wear despite going through whatever got them hospitalized in the first place.

4. Impossibly fast healing of broken bones / lacerations / concussions, etc.

And all of this WHILE REFUSING TO TAKE PAINKILLERS!!!!
