Personally I don’t go for such things, but I’m also not a big tuna fan.

I also doubt that the world is going to embrace lab-tuna.

It also reminds me of the movie Soylent Green, another dystopian classic that somehow Wallach left out of the episode.

Sure they will, just find a lawyer-friendly term for it, like “mechanically-separated chicken” or “lean finely textured beef” (aka “pink slime”) and you’re good to go. Hell, call up Subway, I’m sure if you can sell it to them cheap enough they’ll buy lab-grown tuna by the tanker-full. Remember, we’re the nation that gave the world Spam and consume mountains of the hockey pucks that McDonald’s laughably calls “meat,” we’ll find some way to stomach lab-grown meat if it’s sold cheap.
