Most of the actual virtue in the trial accrued just by getting him into court. A bit more will result from publication of the prosecution’s case. After November I don’t care whether he dies in jail or chokes on a cheeseburger on some tropical island.

I guess I’m just sick and tired of the rich and powerful getting to play by different rules. Call me an idealist or whatever, but I really hope that someday - maybe in my grandkids’ world, if I am so blessed as to have them - we can dispense with this nonsense and treat all (alleged or actual) criminals with respect, dignity, but also sternness and strict adherence to the rules.
