Most people are simply unaware of how rapidly the cost of solar is dropping.Nice if we could get an even playing field vs fossil fuels.

At this point it isn’t about getting an even playing field, Solar and wind are already more cost effective than fossil fuels. The issue is now with grid storage. There simply isn’t enough of it and it is still quite expensive but getting better. Until you can build enough grid storage to smooth out the intermittent nature of wind and solar, fossil fuels(or nuclear) are simply necessary to keep the lights on and AC running and more and more your car charged.
