Watching logistics at work:

The package I ordered on Friday, from a company just outside of Chicago… shipped on UPS on Friday, made it to the UPS facility in Hodgkins (The Chicago Area Consolidation Hub (CACH) is a United Parcel Service (UPS) facility in Hodgkins, Illinois that sorts packages and is the world’s largest ground package sorting facility), from where it went to Louisville (KY) on Saturday morning, where it waited for two days… and then left Louisville, KY, at 4:15PM today and arrived back in … Rockford, IL, just 40 miles from where it started.

And then we wonder why greenhouse gas emissions keep going up.

Back in 2020 there were a smattering of Trump/Pence signs in my neighborhood, even some flags here and there. I noticed signs and even a couple of flags disappeared after Fuckface made the remarks about soldier “suckers and losers” who died in combat.

I’ve been ACAB for a while now, and I personally know cops. Two of my best friends growing up, their father’s were cops. They’re bullies acting out their sick fantasies, hoping one day they’ll be able to shoot a scofflaw with their Glock.

yeah, I’ve come to realize that I get a pass for being a white middle class dude. I grew up thinking that what was written on the cars was true, ‘to protect and to serve”. Nowadays it translates to ‘watch your ass if you ain’t white” with the corollary ‘some people’s property is worth more than your life”.

Out of all the police encounters I’ve had, three of them were non-problematic and all three involved women cops.

My car has been searched on the side of the road twice (they found nothing both times). When I was 17 at house party out in the country we had guns drawn on us because the irate neighbor two miles away calling in the party told the cops we were shooting guns (we weren’t). I wish I had money to hire lawyers to sue sometimes.

The latest from Stewpid Peters…

‘Dictatorial kingship’: Trump supporter Stew Peters calls for absolute monarchy

Stew Peters, a far-right supporter of former President Donald Trump supporter and conspiracy theorist with hundreds of thousands of followers, said on social media Monday that America should abandon democracy.

“I am in favor of the installation of a monarchy,” Peters posted. “A dictatorial kingship that will reintroduce normalcy, Christian values and the RULE OF LAW. A system that will indict, try and FRY convicted war criminals and pedophiles. A power that will secure the borders of our country, and consider AMERICA FIRST in every decision that it faces. This is the way.”

Trump faced backlash late last year when he publicly quipped he would be a dictator on “day one” if re-elected to the White House.

In recent weeks, many of his supporters have suggested they might not accept the 2024 presidential election results if Trump loses.

Peters followed up later with another post. “Elections are fake,” he wrote. “The idea of a two-party constitutional republic is fake. Congress is fake. Our entire system of government has been an illusion for the American people to believe they live under some sort of ‘democracy’. It’s ALL FAKE. There is no political solution for the current state of affairs in this country. You are not going to vote your way out of a tyrannical overtaking. We don’t need any more political candidates. What this country needs is another William Wallace.”

Last September, he reportedly called for the execution of President Joe Biden’s son Hunter at ReAwaken America, a far-right Christian nationalist rally held by Trump’s former national security adviser Michael Flynn.

The following month, he said on a stream that Catholic charity workers who help migrants with their asylum requests should be shot.

I had an experience in 2018 that made me realize my White privilege. I had just leased a new Lincoln and we were driving to Toronto to visit our son and I was just letting Lincoln get used to the road…

AND THEN BLAMMO!!!!

We got pulled over by a State Trooper! I got clocked at 87. The cop saw this old lady behind the wheel with an old man in the passenger seat and nobody else in the car (an SUV so no trunk to hide in). I got off with a warning and “enjoy your trip to Toronto!”

*sigh*

Toronto days are gone, sadly, but Miami days are coming! All I know about driving in Florida is that traffic lights are really long!

I think driving imparts a sense to freedom for the driver…I feel it. My mother and I took a road trip In 2003 - she was age 93 - and said, “I love every inch of this road.” The look on her face was very serious.

A tiny, low-priced electric car called the Seagull has American automakers and politicians trembling.

The car, launched last year by Chinese automaker BYD, sells for around $12,000 in China, but drives well and is put together with craftsmanship that rivals U.S.-made electric vehicles that cost three times as much. A shorter-range version costs under $10,000.

Tariffs on imported Chinese vehicles probably will keep the Seagull away from America’s shores for now, and it likely would sell for more than 12 grand if imported.

U.S. politicians and manufacturers already see Chinese EVs as a serious threat. The Biden administration on Tuesday is expected to announce 100% tariffs on electric vehicles imported from China, saying they pose a threat to U.S. jobs and national security…

Ford CEO Jim Farley has seen Caresoft’s work on the Seagull and observed BYD’s rapid growth across the globe, especially in Europe, where he used to run Ford’s operations. He’s moving to change his company. A small “skunkworks” team is designing a new, small EV from the ground up to keep costs down and quality high, he told analysts earlier this year.

Chinese makers, Farley said, sold almost no EVs in Europe two years ago, but now they have 10% of the electric vehicle market. It’s likely they’ll export around the globe and possibly sell in the U.S.

Ford is preparing to counter that. “Don’t take anything for granted,” Farley said. “This CEO doesn’t.”

Definitely.
You might be able to get yourself to Florida another way, but (IMO) getting there the way you want to is a better experience than getting there the way you have to.

re: #57 Charles Johnson

I’ll just note that I’m not a fan of Seth A. At all. But draw your own conclusions.

Don’t know much about Seth, just thought he is pointing out some obvious details about Trump that MSM appears to be overlooking. Seth is also selling his previous book(s), and we probably can expect another one to follow soon.

As you well know, Michael Cohen was Trump’s numero uno fixer, pre-litigation thug, a replacement” for Trump’s mentor - NY political fixer Roy Cohen (albeit a replacement that Trump knew he could manipulate unlike Roy Cohen).

Michael Cohen has taken an immunity bath, and if he lies under oath, or veers off the relevant testimony path, and pisses off the NY State prosecution - he goes back to jail.

If a jury believed Sammy “the Bull” Gravano credible, maybe this one will believe Michael Cohen.

With the caveat YMMV, some more items I found interesting:

Seth Abramson
@SethAbramson

99/ As noted, Trump is a career criminal who got rich off crime. When litigation arises, it’s because one of his victims has sued him. So litigation represents a failure of his criminal scheme.

Cohen’s role—as an unscrupulous consigliere—was to help Trump crime *pre-litigation*.

100/ For *that* work, you do not want a lawyer. You want a thug you have attorney-client privilege with. Thus, Cohen—so bad an attorney you could have barely called him that even before he was disbarred. He was around to have secret chats with Trump and then go threaten people.

107/ Trump often underpays his closest lackeys on the assumption that they know, and he knows, that—*to a point*—he’ll allow them to use his name to earn side deals, as long as Trump is getting a taste of anything particularly big.

I learned all about this as a Trump biographer.

110/ This whole case is proof Trump was right (as a career criminal) to be concerned about paying his lackeys!

It’s precisely his attempt to reimburse Cohen at once for (a) his fixer services, and (b) the outlay Cohen made to Daniels via his own bank loan, that led to this case.

114/ Cohen has testified that at times he’d do six figures worth of legal and nonlegal work, and Trump wouldn’t pay him—though arguably, given his supposed net worth, he easily could—but would instead offer him perks (like an EVP position at the Trump Org) he could use for graft.

121/ The veritable sea of destroyed small businesses Trump left in his wake is *staggering* in its bloody breadth and depth. These are working and middle-class people Trump—via Cohen—stole millions and millions of dollars from over *decades* because for whatever reason he knew…

135/ Trump is going to ask this jury, very soon, to blame *Cohen* for that conduct. Not Trump, who orchestrated it, or law enforcement, who let it happen for decades and thereby enabled it after-the-fact, but Cohen.

The problem? *Cohen already served his punishment for this*.

138/ Indeed, this is one way to understand this case, in conjunction with what we’ve already discussed about how Trump’s FBI and DOJ caused the case we see before us today at the state level: Donald Trump was so desperate to lie to voters *on a schedule* he created a paper trail.

142/ Trump wasn’t just obsessed with his media coverage, but he believed—rightly!—that he could negotiate that coverage with corporate media via threats and promises and backroom deals and appeals to their greed. (This is one of many reasons to read *indie* journalists on Trump.)

147/ This is why, as Cohen just testified, his phone’s 30,000 contacts were *synched* with Trump’s—so when Trump had an issue with someone, Cohen had access to that person for a shakedown or follow-up negotiation *immediately*. It also explains the extraordinary access Cohen had.

Here’s the premise:

An accident destroys a decaying New York City-like metropolis. Cesar Catilina, an idealist architect with the power to control time, aims to rebuild the city as a sustainable utopia, while his opposition, corrupt Mayor Franklyn Cicero, remains committed to a regressive status quo. Torn between them is Franklyn’s socialite daughter, Julia, who, tired of the influence she inherited, searches for her life’s meaning.

No shit… and that it’s coming from Coppola this late in his life is all the more surprising.

While he’s directed quite a few movies since Apocalypse Now, Coppola’s winning streak pretty much ended there in the late 70s. In the intervening decades, as he eased away from film to build his wine business, a lot of people wrote him off as a well that only had four good pumps (The Godfather Parts 1 & 2, The Conversation, and Apocalypse Now); I know, this was only a trailer, but goddamn… could FFC have one more really good (or even great) one in him as a career capstone? I’m looking forward to it and I’ll see when it opens (probably later this year). I’m old enough to remember, albeit dimly, that Apocalypse Now was quite polarizing when it was released, yet it’s now considered one of the greatest American films.

Apparently, when this film was screened for the studio bigwigs, they were somewhat perplexed, but I think that may have been more a case of them muttering to themselves, “Jesus Christ, how the hell do we market something like this?” if this trailer is anything to go on. It certainly isn’t likely to be your standard popcorn flick, to say the least.

True. OTOH, the United States defeated three of the most evil slave empires in history: the Confederacy, the Third Reich and Imperial Japan, and we’ve given countless millions of people from all over the world the opportunity to improve their lot, so that has to count for something.

It would be nice to have a companion, like a granddaughter who has a driver’s license, but I want to do this. Should I?

I used to drive from Chicago to Florida straight through, maybe stopping for a snooze at some safe roadside place when I was a teenager. Now, I can’t imagine driving more than an hour. My hands start to ache and that’s that. If I keep going, my hands will be useless for days.

late to the party, but of course! As long as you have a driving companion. We’re not getting any younger. I did Clemson to Breadloaf (Middlebury) six years ago, which is 1200 miles. I ate something at the hotel breakfast that didn’t really agree with me and I got to spend 200 miles or so in New York just a bit worried I was gonna have to pull over and puke. I’m not THAT old, but even so, it was just a bit worrying. When you’re by yourself, you can’t exactly just go into the passenger seat and suffer for a bit. It’s you driving, or you finding a hospital, or you pulled over on the side of the road hoping you can get cell service, even though you can’t get siriusxm or gps.

Because Trump’s fucked in the courtroom - the evidence is overwhelming and beyond a reasonable doubt. That was even before Cohen took the stand. Cohen corroborated the evidence previously submitted and undermined Trump’s so-called defense - that this whole thing was to keep the news from Melania, when Trump never cared what Melania thought about being caught with a porn star.

In Japanese cities, especially Tokyo, those who are fortunate to own a house often have small (by American standards) lots, but many Japanese are avid gardeners and intensely garden their lot.

Here’s a selection of private residences, and a temple ground:

【Private Residence】 An Oasis in A densely populated residential area of TOKYO. 東京の多摩地区の住宅街 のオアシス

..

The dense plantings help counter the air pollution, and also the noise pollution.

That latter is often overlooked by Americans, at least out here, who want to scrape a lot barren for the sake of “curb appeal”.

Trump Was Incredibly Bad At Presidenting
Put aside everything else, and it’s a job. He never had the skills for it. Still doesn’t.

Bottom line is that Trump didn’t know much and doesn’t even know how to learn more, and you can’t be good at the job without knowing much. That, even more than his disregard for the rule of law, made him a very dangerous president for four years, and given that there’s no evidence he’s learned anything it would make him a very dangerous president again.

The joys of aging. Yay.

It was solo travel and driving but I did a two week vacation about a decade ago where the main goal was to visit the Shiloh battlefield in southwestern Tennessee. I lived in Philadelphia at the time. The key thing I did with the driving was that I only did 6-7 hours of driving maximum per day. I usually got going in the morning and drove 4-5 hours and then stopped somewhere for lunch, but also to tourist for an hour or so. It could be a state park, a museum, etc. And then did a second drive to reach whatever location I had planned to stop for the night. If that location had a planned tourist visit stop I did that visit in the morning before starting a segment of driving.

I did a couple of stops just on a whim as well and came across some really neat things like a nice museum built around a fossil site in Tennessee. Just off the highway connecting Roanoke, VA to Chattanooga, TN. Besides visiting a number of US Civil War battlefields I gave myself whole days for cities like Memphis, Nashville, etc.

Doing East Coast drives from Philly my goal heading south was to get going early and clear Philadelphia and Wilmington before rush hour. I usually got past Baltimore as well. Once I hit any sort of traffic backup on the Beltway around D.C. I’d take the nearest exit and stop for breakfast.

Heading northward it was early start and deciding how far west and north I was willing to go to avoid the NYC traffic.

More Japanese roses… looks like it was raining yesterday in Tokyo:

2024年5月14日【Rose】雨の旧古河庭園 Kyu’- Furukawa Gardens in the rain Spring roses Japanese rose gardenチャンネル登録🥹

..

The location is the Kyū-Furukawa Gardens, a park with a manor house built in the English style. Oddly out of place in Japan, but it fits in with the Japanese delight in eccentricities.

It’s in the middle of a typical high-density area full of tightly packed residences:

kyu furukawa garden area

These mixed-use areas are very dense and I always thought a bit depressing, but at least the locals have three large gardens to go visit, within walking distance.

The rose foliage is very clean, as it is in early spring. Once the warm nights show up the mildew attacks.

I used to grow roses here and was rather good at it. In coastal California one can grow roses year round, but one is always fighting the mildew if there are warm nights.

The point is that markets need regulation. Unrestricted Globalism is just an excuse to institutionalize the International Kleptocracy.

And I have no problem with competing against other nations in terms of wages; that is our incentive to work smarter and more efficiently (which the USA is very good at), but when they are competing on lax environmental, health and safety regulations, we are not only shooting ourselves in the foot, we are giving them no incentive to clean up their own act.

There is, I propose, a difference between collective guilt and collective responsibility.

I am not guilty for the sins of my ancestors.

Still, I think we are all responsible for how we want to address what our society became.

Guilt implies the need for punishment.

Responsibility implies the need to make wise decisions.

It is clear that modern society is built on the back of exploiting a great deal of people.

The joys of aging. Yay.

So sorry to hear that! Are there any medications available that can help out?

Trump Was Incredibly Bad At Presidenting
Put aside everything else, and it’s a job. He never had the skills for it. Still doesn’t.

Bottom line is that Trump didn’t know much and doesn’t even know how to learn more, and you can’t be good at the job without knowing much. That, even more than his disregard for the rule of law, made him a very dangerous president for four years, and given that there’s no evidence he’s learned anything it would make him a very dangerous president again.

Link

It’s not that he doesn’t know how to learn more, it’s also that he has no interest in learning more; but if he did, he would be even more dangerous than he is now because every step he takes is designed to destroy our democracy and turn us into Hitler’s Germany.

That controlled detonation was delayed from the weekend because of weather, but now crews will be able to remove the steel wreckage of the bridge, move the Dali to a berth in port, and work towards clearing the federal channel to allow full cargo operations to resume at the port of Baltimore by the end of the month.

Yet another false claim by Trump supporters in defense of the January 6 rioters has been blown to pieces after House Republicans released their latest batch of footage of the attack on the U.S. Capitol, according to longtime congressional reporter Jamie Dupree.

Specifically, Dupree wrote, the footage puts the lie to the assertion that police at the Capitol stood by and opened the doors to let the rioters in — a claim that is often used as evidence that the whole event was somehow an entrapment operation to trick Trump supporters into committing acts of violence.

Do you think prosecutors are required to follow the law and prosecute those who break it?
Do you think Joe Biden had anything to do with the NYS prosecution of Trump? Are you a conspiracy nut who has no grounded relationship with facts or the law?

Do you think a jury of peers as agreed by Trump’s defense team via voir dire is not legitimate?

Will you abide by the results of the 2024 election as certified by the states?

Johnson voted against certifying Biden in 2020; no reason to expect that his behavior will improve. OTOH Trump could win legitimately, as he did in 2016. And then that’s it for our nation.

He simply thinks he can do whatever he wants and that the office of the president is a do-anything-card. Surrounding himself with sycophantic suckups furthers that belief, and his next WH stint will be even more disastrous than his first, and far too many people have already memory holed what kind of a disaster Trump’s first run in the WH truly was.

It’s that so much of what bad happened under Trump is now ascribed to Biden, and Biden good news is just ignored by the media that still insists on a horse race.

DUNNELLON, Fla. (WCJB) - Authorities shut down a major roadway in Marion County as they respond to a deadly crash involving a bus on Tuesday morning. This developing story will be updated as more information is learned.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers say a bus with 53 people on board on State Road 40 between Ocala and Dunnellon around 6:30 a.m. The bus collided with a pickup truck for undetermined reasons causing it to veer off the road and flip.

Troopers say the bus was carrying “migrant workers” to a watermelon farm. Eight people died in the crash and eight more are in critical condition. An additional 37 people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

There is, I propose, a difference between collective guilt and collective responsibility.

I am not guilty for the sins of my ancestors.

Still, I think we are all responsible for how we want to address what our society became.

Guilt implies the need for punishment.

Responsibility implies the need to make wise decisions.

Right, sort of like how the corporate media across the pond is still desperately trying to convince the voting public that the Tories have a chance at maintaining a slim majority after the elections.

I imagine that, much like Labour, the Dems are secretly happy with the media continuing to flog their “horse race” narrative, as it keeps tensions high and thus helps turnout compared to a “it’s all over but the crying” narrative.

Meanwhile, publishers are getting fucked over by overwhelming numbers of fake science journal submissions. Publishers like Wiley are shutting down respected medical journals because of the need to retract submissions over discovering they were faked.

The problems at Wiley are traced to a company they purchased that had been overrun with fake submissions that used AI generated nonsense in substantial portions of the submissions.

This problem is going to get worse.

I think one of the biggest problems we have with policing in this country is that the bar for entry is so incredibly low for local police forces. A professional police force, requiring professional standards would probably go a long way in making things better. But instead the standard is this:

You Got All Cs in High School?

(In all seriousness, consider the difference between what it takes to get into a local police academy and what it takes to become an FBI special agent)

Heinz 57 is a synecdoche of the historical advertising slogan “57 Varieties” by the H. J. Heinz Company located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. It was developed from the marketing campaign that told consumers about the numerous products available from the Heinz company.

re: #249 wrenchwench

Maybe yes, Maybe no!

Henry J. Heinz introduced the marketing slogan “57 pickle Varieties” in 1896. He later claimed he was inspired by an advertisement he saw while riding an elevated train in New York City (a shoe store boasting “21 styles”). The reason for “57” is unclear. Heinz said he chose “5” because it was his lucky number and the number “7” was his wife’s lucky number.[1] However, Heinz also said the number “7” was selected specifically because of the “psychological influence of that figure and of its enduring significance to people of all ages”.[2] Whatever the reasons, Heinz wanted the company to advertise the greatest number of choices of pickles. In fact by 1892, four years before the slogan was created, the Heinz company was already selling more than 60 products.[3]

The first product to be promoted under the new “57 varieties” slogan was prepared horseradish.[4] By 1940, the term “Heinz 57” had become so synonymous with the company the name was used to market a steak sauce, which had a taste similar to ketchup. Because of this, its advertising campaign in the late 1980s and early 1990s used the slogan “It’s like ketchup with a kick”.

ANOTHER MAGGIE HABERMAN NYT STORY COVERS UP OLEG DERIPASKA’S ROLE
emptywheel.net

“…Seven paragraphs in, Maggie (writing with Jonathan Swan) describes that Manafort went to prison, but doesn’t bother to explain that he laundered money and violated FARA to hide that his influence peddling was backed by Russian-aligned oligarchs.
………….

In other words, Maggie and Swan buried the real reason why Manafort threatened — and still threatens, given past history — to discredit Trump’s campaign or undermine US democracy: Wittingly or not — we don’t know because of the lies and the pardon — he was at the center of a key part of the Russian attack on American democracy.

Journalists should not simply bury that.

Worse, too, this is not the first time that a story bearing Maggie’s byline has covered up Manafort’s tie to Deripaska in all this.”

So the Uni protests have spread to Sweden… Two in my county, at the Royal Institute of Technology and Stockholm U. They had an interview with them on the local news, and the first thing out of the interviewee’s mouth was the “plausible genocide” talking point, which isn’t correct, the ICJ ruling was that it’s plausible that South Africa has the right to bring the case to the ICJ, and that the Palestinian people have a (plausible) right to be protected from genocide (TBH, everyone has it according to the CPPCG).
I’m not arguing against their right to protest peacefully, nor against Palestinians having the right to be protected against genocide, but it isn’t a good look to go with a talking point which has been debunked by no less than a former official at the ICJ.

re: #297 No Malarkey!

Prosecutors have told the judge that Cohen is their final witness.

So then it’s the defense’s turn, if they have any, right? Can they call prosecution witnesses back to the stand for another go, or is cross-examination the first time around their only chance?

I have a relative who was a cop in a town around here known being loud and proud about hating minorities, particularly Black people. Straight up admitted to me he unapologetically harassed Black people every chance he got.

This was back in the 70s. It wouldn’t surprise if it eventually came out he shot someone for not being white.

He and I grew up in a small town in NJ. He was Indian and I guess to survive in the police force he was attached to he became super racist and homophobic.

I watched it happen. What I’ve discovered is that you can break up with someone you are dating but there is no official way of unfriending someone in real life.

If they disclosed that a person was a witness they may call, the defense can call them to testify even if the prosecution called them as a witness

So it depends on the witnesses they listed before the trial began, gotcha. Did they actually do that? I remember there was quite a bit of talk about them not having any witnesses.

Yes, they can call any of the witnesses back to the stand. Prosecutors would also be able to redirect on the witness after defense questions.

After Cohen, I expect Trump’s lawyers to claim that they have no witnesses and move for a directed verdict that prosecutors failed to reach threshold of beyond a reasonable doubt.

It will be denied of course, and the jury will probably get this case after closing arguments this week.

They provided a list of witnesses, but they are under no obligation to call any witnesses.

I’ve known a number of cops. Most were total control freaks and treated everyone who isn’t a cop as “them”, without agency or identity.

I did have one friend who became a cop and called me asking to score some pot. ;-)

I also once broke into a cop’s house after their babysitter locked herself and the kids out of the house. Was able to take off a screen window and then open the window to let them in. Put the screen back and no one noticed. (Next door neighbor).

Of course, I’m evil so I’m a bit biased, but I don’t trust cops at all.

This is our land. We conquered it fair and square. The Indian Wars lasted for 300 years and you lost. Get over it. These were violent, warfaring people who lived by the sword and died by it. Such is the way of the world. We have nothing to apologize for.

And this is why they are so concerned about Replacement Theory. They don’t expect to be treated any better than the way they treated the Natives.

I wonder if the cannibal’s palette would prefer a bodybuilder or a Meal Team 6 Chump cultist. Or do all assholes taste like shit?

The noted Republican cannibal Alfred Packer dined exclusively on scrawny Hinsdale County Democrats. This was the only fare available, though, so his preferences would be of little value in a potential marketing analysis.

At Packer’s trial the judge was reported to have said:

Stand up yah voracious man-eatin’ sonofabitch and receive yir sintince. When yah came to Hinsdale County, there was siven Dimmycrats. But you, yah et five of ‘em, goddam yah. I sintince yah t’ be hanged by th’ neck ontil yer dead, dead, dead, as a warnin’ ag’in reducin’ th’ Dimmycratic populayshun of this county. Packer, you Republican cannibal, I would sintince ya ta hell but the statutes forbid it.

Alas, this story is apprently apochryphal but it’s a fact that there are still very few Democrats in Hinsdale County Colorado.

Native North Americans did not even use swords.
I can see how someone with a delusion that they conquered this land themselves would be upset that the Liberals are just allowing anyone in, and the Conservatives are fine with selling land here to foreigners. It’s tough to be a Nazi.

You mean the legacy hire that was brought onto the Times in the run-up to the 2016 elections because she had already developed a reputation in the industry as a fluffer for Trump was acting as his mouthpiece for years to sell a book as soon as he was out of office?

Surely you can’t be serious!

I experienced Maqggie’s bullshit firsthand, when she came to cover Hillary’s appearance at the SCDWC (Democratic Women’s Council) in May, 2015. Maggie wrote a lot about Hillary’s “drawl” and other insignificant crap. She also interviewd me for about 20 minutes (I was an area DWC officer) and reduced that to 3 words that were the opposite of what I had said in the interview. I had her number from that day forward.

Just waiting for Trump’s Pulpit Pimp Posse to join in defending Goldfarter.

The plus side to this theater is that it will be much harder for them to say “Trump who?” in the future when they try to distance themselves from the train wreck.
