My worry is that this is too little, too late. The best we can hope for is that releasing massive stocks of artillery and HIMAARS might stall the Russian advances that have been relentlessly pushing Ukrainians back on all fronts.

Ukraine needs men, not just weapons. There *is* however evidence that increasing numbers of foreign nationals are being found on the front lines. I’m too old, or I’d be there, in whatever the modern equivalent of the Lincoln Brigade is.

I don’t understand why they don’t issue a general mobilization. They’re facing an existential threat. Zelensky and the Rada balked at drafting 500k when they should be drafting double that.
