There is a whole, apparently profitable, YouTube page devoted to the claim that film clips from the 1890s are products of an alternate world since “that tech did not exist then, not in this timeline anyway.”
Of course it did exist, as extensively documented ever since, but the grifter who runs the place apparently realizes that his audience has no idea when film was invented. The average dimwit assuming there was nothing before the oldest film they have seen, the silents of the 1920s. The grifter relates this somehow to the Mandela Effect, the attempt by woo-woos to commercialize false memories by claiming they are real and it is the real world that has changed.
