Yeah, the image brought to mind Jeremy Clarkson spending most of an episode of Top Gear trying (and failing) to kill an 80s-era Toyota Hilux. Including taking it seaside and chaining it up to be submerged by the incoming tide, losing it for hours after the chains broke and the ocean claimed it for a bit, then being absolutely amazed as a few mechanics got it running again with only the contents of an ordinary toolbox.
