Spinoff Links Updated

The current version of our new Spinoff Links feature has some improvements. The display is hopefully easier to read (with alternating shades of gray for each link), the web site domain name of the link is shown for your convenience, and if you have uploaded a personal icon it will show up next to your username when you post a spinoff link.

The ratings area has been shuffled to make better use of that cell, with a larger number positioned above the minus/plus buttons.

If something doesn’t seem to be working correctly, use your browser’s ‘Refresh’ button to reload the page and get it all synced up.

The feature seems to be popular, with almost 300 spinoff links posted since the launch yesterday.

UPDATE at 12/30/07 4:15:39 pm:

Forgot to mention another change — when you load one of our individual entry pages, with or without comments, the spinoff links area is automatically opened for you.
