I need to go back and listen to the produced studio version to make sure, but I think I actually like this home recording more, because it’s the real shit, before the suits and marketers get ahold of it.

Tom Petty’s “You Don’t Know How It Feels” (Home Recording) - listen now at https://tompetty.lnk.to/YDKHIF

Lyrics
Let me run with you tonight
I’ll take you on a moonlight drive
There’s someone I used to see
But they don’t give a damn for me

So let me get to the point, let’s roll another joint
And turn the radio loud, I’m too alone to be proud
You don’t know how it feels
You don’t know how it feels to be me

I’m so tired of being tired
Sure as night will follow day
Most things that I worry about never happen anyway

So let’s get to the point, let’s roll another joint
Let’s head on down the road
To somewhere I gotta go
You don’t know how it feels
You don’t know how it feels to be me

My old man was born to rock
He’s still tryin’ to beat the clock
Make of me what you will
I’ve got a little space to fill

So let’s get to the point, let’s roll another joint
Let’s head on down the road
To somewhere I got to go
And you don’t know how it feels
You don’t know how it feels
You don’t know how it feels to be me
You don’t know how it feels
No you don’t know how it feels
You don’t know how it feels to be me

Welcome to The Imbleachment (dangerman)  Jun 28, 2020 • 6:29:43pm

from the last thread:

CO2 inhalation from a mask is a valid concern - if you are doing intense cardio like running, biking, lots of heavy lifting, etc. Anything that gets your breathing rate up. If you’re just walking and working a light workload, a mask isn’t going to cause any harm.

we’re probably splitting hairs here

there is so little air volume between your face and a mask that i dont think any real accumulation of significant exhaled co2 is possible. (yes im guessing)

you’re not breathing, or rebreathing only from that tiny void.

the total volume of your inhale is going to way exceed the volume of that airspace and that’s going to come from outside and through the mask

and whatever is exhaled into that small space between face and mask while containing elevated co2 is still around 16% o2

again guessing - if there’s an issue with cardio and masks it the resistance of the material and whether that means reduced airflow and/or having to divert more effort to breathing

NEW: Due to the rising spread of #COVID19, CA is ordering bars to close in Fresno, Imperial, Kern, Kings, Los Angeles, San Joaquin, and Tulare, while recommending they close in Contra Costa, Riverside, Sacramento, San Bernardino, Santa Barbara, Santa Clara, Stanislaus, & Ventura.

So now do people just flood into neighboring counties that don’t have bans? If this plague has proven anything, it’s that party people aren’t all that smart.

My first reaction on hearing the story about the report on Russian plans was that there’s no way Trump would pay attention to any discussion of Russian malfeasance or indeed anything of importance, let alone read an official briefing. You cannot persuade Trump of anything he doesn’t already believe, and as often mentioned, you have to attract his attention through Hannity or Tucker, which means anything top secret will never penetrate his consciousness, because it cannot first be released to Fox News for public distribution.

I haven’t gone over the map in detail, but the “neighboring counties that don’t have bans” are mostly very sparsely populated and pretty far from population centers (several populous counties, e.g. the bay area, aren’t on the list because they never opened). So it would be a drive of several hours to get to a county that probably doesn’t have many places they could go. Better to just take the takeout.

A former Miami Gardens police officer accused of using excessive for in the arrest of a pregnant woman is off the force after bonding out of jail.

Jody Martel was captured on camera using a Taser on a pregnant woman and putting his knee on her neck outside of Tootsie’s Cabaret in January.

Martel was arrested Thursday and charged with battery and official misconduct.

Fernandez-Rundle said, “Martel allegedly used excessive force by putting his knee on Ms. Satchell’s neck. He went into Sacthell’s car without any evidence that she had committed a crime.”

The video outside of Tootsie’s Cabaret included a staff member asking the person recording the incident, “Can you please delete that, sir? Can you please delete it?”

Propaganda, 4Chan’s Finest

This image was in the Snopes article. These are from 4Chan. The flyer campaign would have been more effective if they used these images as stickers. We’ve never seen truly effective propaganda, but this is diabolically good. It plays to socially-aware people, giving them despair, while it plays to the bigots to confirm what they already think.

These are the propagandists of 4Chan. I miss when they were using their talents for silly, shitty, memes that at least were of no great consequence.

The whole concept is nonsense. Surgeons wear masks sometimes 16 hours a day, and we are working very hard while doing so. There is no cardio issue from a simple cloth mask no matter how hard you’re exerting yourself. It will get sweaty, but it isn’t impeding air flow in any way.
