Johann Sebastian Bach - Gavotte from 4th Lute Suite for guitar

At a time when the guitar occupied a marginal space within the classical music of the 20th century, the guitarist Andrés Segovia gave a instrumental hierarchy to the Spanish guitar working on transcriptions of classical or baroque works and collaborating closely with composers such as Torroba to help them compose classical music for guitar; composers who would later be called “compositores Segovianos” such as Federico Moreno Torroba, Ponce, Falla, Tansman or Villa-lobos, among others.

We knew this was coming!

Fox’s new Jan. 6 documentary implies 9/11 was a false flag

Fox News will air a selectively edited “documentary” about the Jan. 6 attacks based on the 44,000 hours of footage delivered to the network’s prime-time personality, Tucker Carlson. Carlson will not post all 44,000 hours for the public to view. Instead, he will make his own edits.

The move comes after Carlson spent months arguing that there was no insurrection on Jan. 6, 2021.

Former state trooper charged in Capitol riot claims he was just looking for bathroom

Michael Daniele was captured in photos on shared on social media yanking down barricades around the building from “outnumbered” officers, stated the affidavit filed against him Monday. A video of one scene “shows Daniele acting with the mob, as others also participate in moving barriers,” according to an affidavit.

“Daniele admitted that he ultimately entered the Capitol building through a broken doorway that was next to a broken window,” an FBI agent wrote in the affidavit. “According to Daniele, he only entered one large space of the building and after looking for a bathroom and not finding one, left immediately thereafter,” the affidavit states.

The former state trooper, who retired in 2013, faces federal charges including civil disorder, entering a restricted area and disorderly conduct in a federal building.

I strongly recommend this article, it is the most remarkable financial scam/scandal you have read in a very, very long time, and after you read it, you’ll realize that there’s so much that HASN’T been told, because it hasn’t been figured out.

How the Biggest Fraud in German History Unravelled

The tech company Wirecard was embraced by the German élite. But a reporter discovered that behind the façade of innovation were lies and links to Russian intelligence.

By Ben Taub
February 27, 2023

Late in the spring of 2020, Jan Marsalek, an Austrian bank executive, was suspended from his job. He was a widely admired figure in the European business community—charismatic, trilingual, and well travelled. Even at his busiest, as the chief operating officer of Wirecard, Germany’s fastest-growing financial-technology company, he would assure subordinates who sought a minute of his time that he had one, just for them. “For you, always,” he used to say. But he would say that to almost everyone.

And then, much, much, MUCH later in the article:

In the year leading up to Wirecard’s collapse, in June, 2020, the leadership plotted a takeover of Deutsche Bank—an acquisition so huge that Wirecard’s balance-sheet fraud might be buried in the deal.

newyorker.com

What this Marsalek fella was doing kind of puts whatever shenanigans The Tangerine Man was up to into the freaking SHADE. Germany *fucked up* here.

I actually saw Segovia in concert in the 60s and Salvador Dali was in our row. It was, if I remember correctly, an amazing evening.

This reminded me that one of Segovia’s students was a woman named Maria Rosario Pilar Martinez Molina Baeza, better known by her mononym Charo. It is unclear how old Charo is, she could be as old as 81 or as young as 72. But she is still playing the guitar at performances, I watched a video of her yesterday. And to think we, in the 1970s, only saw her as the cuchi-cuchi girl.

The rest of this story is they could flush your toilet with suction from below but because the tank is still full, it’s not going to refill. This keeps the pipe open so methane gas can drift up into your home. If you are home and this happens you will hear it, and you can remedy the gas problem by regular flushing the toilet. You should also refill all the sink traps in your house if you ever hear your toilet magically flush itself.

Yes, but the gas comes out the lower exit (your toilet) before it goes out the roof vent. This is also why some bathrooms always stink - they have a trap that’s dry or a floor drain with a leaky trap.

We did this last year in my village, except the job was to photograph the entire sewer system from the inside, ram PVC pipe inside the old ceramic sewer lines, then cut holes in the PVC for the individual homes and businesses.

My pocket is going to be about 5k lighter because our subdivision used clay couplers to go from 4” to 6” pipe and the oak tree roots destroyed the one in our front yard. Some backhoe digging and pipe patching to come this week.
