Great New Music Video From Italian Guitar Whiz Matteo Mancuso: “Drop D”

I had so much fun shooting my first official video In Sicily! This magical location is called “finestra sul mare” and it is part of a series of artistic buildings and sculptures called “fiumara d’arte” (the pyramid you see at 03:17 is one of these buildings!) Drop D is one of the first original songs I wrote, I wanted to do a tribute to my first blues-rock influences, with an healthy amount of prog elements that I absorbed during my musical journey. A huge thank to my brothers Giuseppe Bruno on Drums and @StefanoIndia on Bass for their excellent work on this tune, but most importantly, for their precious friendship! Many thanks also to Antonio Presti for letting us shoot the video on these marvelous places, and of course @YamahaGuitarsOfficial for their constant support!

This was brought up two threads ago, so I’ll bring it up again (0:24).

To hell with these chuds grifting (badly) off the actual epilepsy problems of millions of Americans.

Somehow claiming to shake so badly from a vaccine, yet perfectly able to put on eyeliner and make sure they stay in the shot of a video.

States normally impose a three- to six-month ban on driving if you have a seizure, and those bans are imposed from self-reporting or the reporting of others. (Physicians are not usually required to report you to the DMV any more.)

Perhaps tracking these grifters down and reporting them to their state DMV would be an appropriate “find out” for this nonsense.

“HALT” stands for Halt All Lethal Trafficking of Fentanyl Act (HR 467). The bill has support from most of the Republicans and Democrats.

This would ban virtually every opioid, including drugs such as Naloxone, and any precursor used to make synthetic opioids (which are also used to create other medications).

Fentanyl has legitimate uses in surgery, cancer treatment, and other extremely painful conditions. It is currently a Schedule II drug.

The article goes into a long description of why this is bad policy.

The switch on the brake pedal could be augmented with an inertial sensor to turn on the lights whenever the vehicle decelerates for any reason on both ICE and electric, but the government would probably have to force manufacturers to add that feature.

As was noted by the person in the video talking about brake lights, NTHSA regulations require the stop lamps to come on when the primary braking system is applied (pushing the brake pedal). Since the regulations do not require the stop lamps to come on otherwise, no company will do it (and internal combustion engine cars have the same problem, especially when downshifting to slow down). The European Union traffic regulations have the same problem.

The United Nations just adopted new uniform traffic standards which require stop lamps to come on when deceleration exceeds a certain number of metres per second squared (so normal variability in driving doesn’t create a cried wolf effect with stop lamps).

The EU is already working on new regulations to bring the bloc into compliance. The USA is busy gutting the ability of regulatory agencies to regulate anything.
