Nice. Interesting setup. Weber grill over the fire. That coffee looks good about now. It’s gonna be a late nights editing tonight. I lurk and then post during rendering breaks.

That 1/8000 is probably the biggest key here. My current ax tops out at 1/2000. Even f1.4 from my Nikkor 50mm (100 effective) at ISO 3200 wouldn’t make up for that, alas.

I can assure you that is key. Even 1/4000 is remarkably less sharp and silky. The other thing is using propane. Much more visible than hydrogen. I should mention I was running the torch, I had LeftWingConspirator with me as my camera guy. So I had him take the shots. I hope he lurks later. This method kinda takes 2.
