Time for Mitch to get together with Reid and start talking about expelling this asshole from the Senate. Will it make him a teahadi martyr? Sure, but it will also send a message to the teahadias, the Adults have had enough of your shit and we aren’t putting up with it anymore. In fact, if we are lucky, such a move will force them to leave the republican party and form a third party that will then disappear into obscurity.

I know fat chance. But one can always hope.

Cruz: The next time the Tea Party shuts it down, the GOP will fall in line!

Fixed it.

I like this idea.

I wonder how we can get the ball rolling on this one.

Give Austin political asylum in the United States first and I might consider it.

How about you actually govern Ted? You know, what you were elected to do- not to be the Tea Party’s errand/tantrum boy.

He doesn’t. He just wants to scream, rage, and burn things down. If he actually had to sit down and thrash out the detailed outline of a budget, as even Ron Paul did*, his brain would explode from the strain of actual thought.

*: Though Paul’s was a nutcase budget, unworthy of real consideration, he still did put in the effort to learn what was being spent where and detail his plans to defund. I didn’t think I’d have to say this, but Ted Cruz has so far shown himself less competent than Crazy Uncle Ron.

Demagogues don’t govern. They incite.
