U.S. Bans Visas for Perpetrators of Sexual Violence, but Education Is Key
In a clear sign that lawmakers are taking steps to stop violence against women — particularly the use of sexual violence as a weapon of war — Secretary of State John Kerry made the announcement on Feb. 25. Earlier this year, President Obama also released a report and statement calling for an end to violence against women.
