Shit. Most underrated rock and roll band ever. Rod and Ron would have been less without Ian. it’s just rock and roll.

That electric piano riff at the start of “Stay With Me” is one of the signatures of 70’s British rock.

Ian was a big influence on my playing. Also on choosing a Wurlitzer electric piano.

One of my hometown friends was a master at the “Wurleyberg” , he passed away not too long ago.
