UpChuck’s latest thing, that he has proof that North Korea was not behind the Sony hack. And of course he claims it’s breaking news. Never mind that there’s been plenty written on the subject of who is, or isn’t, behind the Sony hack. And there are no shortage of doubters that Norks are behind it. And many of those doubters are about a million times more credible than UpChuck. His evidence is very, very thin, and hardly the result of either his cyber or journalistic investigations. He’s really just ripping off the publishing of others IMHO.

But the worst part, in another short article, he publishes a name and a picture of a woman he claims is a ‘person of interest’ in the Sony hack. He claims he has had the name since Christmas eve and is publishing because others are trying to scoop him. I think we’ve heard that line before from UpChuck. He includes this line “We want to stress that everyone has a presumption of innocence”.

The picture he published, comes from a Facebook account of the same name he published. And you guessed it, he has the gall to put his bottom feeder watermark on the image.

As it happens, there is a Sony employee with the name.

UpChuck, manages to make the sleaziest of tabloids look like paragons of honesty and journalistic integrity.
