So I was wondering about this. If congress passes a law regarding scotus ethics, could the scotus just find it unconstitutional and ignore it?

I would expect that the bill will state that it is not covered by the Supreme Court jurisdiction. The Congress is perfectly able to pass a law and include legislation saying that the Supreme Court has no jurisdiction and cannot review.
