I hate to compare the presidents but think about this. Obama is catching heat for delaying his decision on Afghanistan. Well, I like to think about Bush’s delayed decision on Rumsfeld who as kept on board even though he was performing poorly with Iraq. It took the ‘06 election before he was finally “fired” and once Gates took over it was like night and day.

And when Obama finally approves the additional 30,000 plus troops tomorrow? All you’ll hear is a lot of moaning about the delay and I’m sure all of the arm chair chickenhawks generals will be compelled to comment.
