I’ve noticed an effect this blog has had on me. It’s sorta made me lose my taste for defending Obama online. Not because I’m not an Obama supporter (It would take something truly shocking for me to vote for a Republican for president in 2012) but because it’s just become not worth the effort to respond to snark and gotchas and logical fallacies and nitpicking and strawmen and tu quoque and confirmation bias and fundamental attribution error and people who claim he’s a narcissist, which is totally the watered down less-racial version of saying he’s uppity. It’s made me realize that all the petty snark about Obama doesn’t matter, it’s digital farts in the wind. At the end of the day, he’s still President. Of These United States. Cheers, guys :)
