Well, the way I see it is, Saint Ronald would never make it on to the 2012 Republican ticket, even with all the hymn singing and hagiographies to him. The Reagan of ‘80 might have a chance, as one has to remember that he didn’t start making hard choices until after he was in office. The Reagan of ‘84, on the other hand, wouldn’t have a prayer.
