There is a difference between a reasoned objection and ‘Twitterbait’ such as “Let the shootings begin.” The latter is inflammatory and intended to appeal to emotions rather than reason.

What do you think’s going to happen when you have idiots running around with guns? There’s no way we can make sure they don’t have bullets in those guns, so shootings are going to happen.
