I do sometimes wonder if a lot of it is the projection of what they feel are their own personal failings and weaknesses onto others. I may feel I have the right to sleep with whomever I want, whenever I want, wherever I want (With, obviously, some exceptions), but that doesn’t mean I actually want or will sleep with more than a few of the people I run into.

Women, like men, have a sex drive and it can sometimes get a bit out of control, but I trust myself to be able to keep it from getting so out of control that I start try to bed every person I see. Perhaps Ms. Lopez lacks such a level of trust in herself and assumes that’s the case for all women.
