At least two of the GOP dolts who occupied the SCIF are Alabama representatives. Mo Brooks is a walking fool, so there’s nothing of note there. The other, Brendan Byrne, is the sanest of the handful of wunderkinder who are running against Doug Jones for Senate. If Byrne has somehow shot himself in the dick, that’s one for the good guys.

They did this in order to enhance the party talking points. To be able to present to their knuckle-dragging base that this is some sort of secret partisan Deep State witch hunt.
