I feel bad for the spider, but the wasp is a Mom, just trying to feed her baby a still-living, but paralyzed enormous fucking spider.

The US has an equivalent in the SW deserts—the Tarantula Hawk. It was featured in one of the “real-life” Disney films in the ’50s.
