I had an old Gateway running Win98 and upgraded the OS to Win2K.
Sweet machine until the hard drive fragged.
Windows 7 is unfortunately similar to Windows Vista.
I find it tends to be faster on launch and as I mentioned earlier it isn’t prone to BSD.
In essence, you could call Windows 7 Windows Vista SP3.
