Thank you! Yeah, after more than 15 years of good standing with Amazon Associates, they suddenly sent me a notice my account was being closed with this reason:

Your Special Links are appearing as paid/sponsored links or advertisements on search engines platforms. These types of advertisements may be used to send users directly to your Site but cannot be used to send traffic to Amazon.

I have absolutely NEVER bought sponsored links on search engines, for any purpose at all. When I appealed this, someone responded with a form message that assumed I was applying for a new account and had been denied.

I responded to that and requested to have it escalated, and got no reply. Repeated it, still no reply.

And when they did this, I was owed several hundred dollars that their terms of service allow them to NOT pay.

It was a shitty way to treat someone who has sent them many thousands of dollars of purchases for all kinds of products.
