Frankly, I admire the ones who went and did the hard sciences - perhaps you were even smarter than we all knew you were at the time - you never sat up all night arguing with a stoned trust-fund kid about the merits of Marlowe’s Faustus versus Goethe’s Faust in terms of their overall narrative scope and authorial ambition.
