Did Putin have his own Russian Don Rumsfeld telling him the Russian army would be greeted as liberators?

Apparently, yes. There was a story floating around on Czech TV news yesterday that one of Putin’s senior military advisers apparently told him that the Ukrainians would greet their Russian brothers as saviors or something.

And he didn’t mean just that little eastern part…no, that fool was actually thinking that all of Ukraine would welcome the Russians as liberators.
