I thought it was like damn near impossible to remove a SCOTUS justice?

Remember the PA Supreme Court justice Orie who was convicted and sentenced to jail. She refused to resign her seat on the court and the PA GOP blocked Wolf from naming a replacement. So the seat was still hers until the next judicial election.
