I know… it is really freaky. The radical right have got Janet Napolitano making public statements about increased monitoring of the internet, the radical right managed to keep Guantanamo open, the radical right has somehow forced the administration to use state secrets to shield themselves from litigation, there’s no prosecution for criminal acts of the Bush administration. Surveillance powers put in place under the Patriot Act have been renewed.

The radical right are the most devious cabal ever to appear on the face of this planet.

Way to miss the point. The issue is that the people now crying and screaming about Napolitano were just fine with such sweeping government powers UNDER A REPUBLICAN ADMINISTRATION. Now they’re mad as hell, and not going to take it any more.
