Town I live in, I deal with people who are barely making it who (1) are very angry that poor people don’t pay what they owe in taxes, (2) find it understandable, even admirable, that rich people don’t pay what they owe in taxes.

The secret of the USA is that not all of us rebelled against monarchism, some of us rebelled against one particular form of monarchy.
