Agreed, but be very careful who you say that to when south of the Mason-Dixon Line. Not only do many of them love to wave their stars and bars, to them Lincoln was the real villain of the Civil War and they still hate him.

I know that I’d be signing my own death certificate if I said that in East Texas. And lord knows there are plenty of racist dickbags here in the South who are convinced that Lincoln was a tyrant that inspired Hitler’s cruelty.

I’m not a fan of the Confederacy, but I also know where and when to say that.
