To be fair, we saw this in 2008 too when Obama used the lipstick idiom on Palin.

Also to be fair Obama wasn’t directly saying that *about* Palin. He was saying that about McCain and Palin trying to rebrand the same old conservative bullshit as something fresh.

Conservatives clutched their pearls and pretended to not get it (or they really are that fucking stupid).

So it’s not even the same shit other than the fauxtrage.
