The most important truth in US politics is that the Republican party is a proto-fascist death cult completely incapable of any kind of ‘governance’ more complicated than Trumpist graft and corruption.

The great both siderist lie of the political main stream media is that this fact about the Republican party is studiously ignored, and the media continues to treat Republicans as if they were respectable people with respectable opinions about which reasonable people can disagree.

The media should treat Republicans as deplorables with opinions that are stupid, bigoted and/or cruel which no civilized person should be obliged to take seriously.
