The thing I have the least patience for is the idea that police violence will stop when (you know who, wink-wink) stops running from the police.

I have a family member that repeats that. I have to remind them Rodney King didn’t run away and got the crap beat out of him. Eric Garner…………… Really, it’s very easy for someone who has never experienced or even witnessed police misconduct to act like if you just listen to the police, all will be fine.
