Republicans are already claiming that it’s God’s wrath for our debauchery (LGBT rights, reproductive rights, diversity, inclusion, etc.). Makes you wonder why the Bible Belt gets so many hurricanes and tornadoes. 🤔

A friend of mine who should have known fucking better postulated that Katrina may have been punishment from God.

Not a conservative, but religious enough that she unfortunately gave that nonsense actual consideration.
