Maybe I took the Cold War too seriously. I grew up fearing the big boys like the Soviet Union and China. We had to know where the fall-out shelters were. When to “duck and cover.” Although most of the time when we realistically thought about it we figured if anything went wrong we’d be dead in a flash of light. Now? I look at Iran and while I’m troubled by what I see, I can laugh when I compare it to the Cold War.
