re: #159 Targetpractice

These suckers are businessman and one of the most important things a businessman can trade on his name. Being “Jared Kushner, Admitted Crook” can close a lot of doors.

There are many doors in this world, and most of them don’t care about the American government. If nothing else, Vlad’ll give him a nice sinecure… or a polonium cocktail if he refuses.

The FBI doesn’t indict people, but testimony they take in can be used for things other than criminal charges, such as articles of impeachment. And the higher the pile of evidence becomes, the harder it becomes for the GOP to argue that there’s no need for a select committee or independent prosecutor. Flynn ratting out one or more of his fellow vermin in the White House might be the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back. So the White House is going to try to get out ahead of that by saying Flynn’s the “real” crook, that his testimony is suspect, and that the FBI cut a sweetheart deal with him (likely for immunity) and so allowed the “real” crook to walk purely in the name of politics.

The GOP doesn’t give a damn because its voters don’t give a damn. They believe in white supremacy so absolutely that there is NOTHING they could do to shake them. They’d gleefully sign up to a dictatorship or foreign occupation if there was enough Strange Fruit in the trees.
