Fifty years from now, the Roberts Supreme Court will be widely viewed as the worst seated court in American history, even more so than the Roger Taney court that handed down Dred Scott. The reason for this is that Dred Scott merely denied a group of people Constitutional protections, while overturning of the Roe v Wade decision actively removed established Constitutional rights to over half of the American people.

However, this is dependent on whether the fascists actually succeed in taking over the country, because if that happens, then there won’t be any historical review.

Dred Scott was worse than that — It stated that blacks, whether free or slave, were not and could never become citizens of the United States and had no rights under the Constitution. So I think Taney will still be the worst court based on that single decision but Roberts wins the title of second worst.
