In 2001, a BMX bike was sold from my shop. in 2002, it was stolen. Yesterday, a guy brought in a bike that he said was abandoned in his yard a year ago. I looked it up, found who we had sold it to, the phone number was disconnected, then I called my former employee who sold it and asked him whether he knew how to get ahold of the original buyer (turns out to be the cousin of my former employee). It will be picked up tomorrow, 15 years after it was stolen.
