I don’t think motive has very much to do with line item value.

Reality: Bush’s last budget had a $1.416 trillion deficit. Obama’s first budget reduced that to $1.29 trillion.

It’s funny when people take talking points from biased sources, especially when those talking points turn out to be both factually incorrect and misleading. John Stewart said to stop it so…stop it.
