Yeah, and to that extent I am fine—someone says they are a person of color, and I nod approvingly. I have some issues with the concept behind the usage, and as I said, some of my difficulty with the term comes out of how it has affected Jewish and Arab feminism and activism, which is one of my ‘things’.
