My favorite story about Stalin is probably total bullshit, but as I don’t speak Russian I’ll let Sergey tell me if this was possible.

Stalin supposedly means “man of steel” Allegedly, he had a newspaper reporter killed/sent to Siberia for misprinting “Salin” which I think meant “man of mayonnaise”…like I said, I have no idea if that’s accurate, but I still like the story.
