Yeah but it’s harder to win as an Indy than Democrat. Really, frankly I think the Democratic Party shouldn’t have even allowed Bernie to run. Hear me out. He wasn’t a Democrat. He caucused with them, yes but that’s different than actually being a Democrat.

After this year, I think they’re going to consider a rule change to bar from the primaries those people who have not been members of in good standing with the party for a set number of years. No more “I’ve suddenly decided I’m a Democrat”-style campaigns anymore.
