Treason? I think you’re going way too far there. Are they assholes? Are they idiots? Yes and yes but treason is a bridge too far. Just saying because I remember how much I hated any disagreement with Bush was labeled that way.

Treason is very specifically defined in the Constitution as taking up arms against the Federal government or the several states.

Thus, the South committed treason in the Civil War. The Talibanjo committed treason at Mahleur Wildlife Refuge.

However, the country doesn’t prosecute treason per se.
