There’s more to the Intelligence Community than just the CIA. When I think of of intra-US government action to undermine Hillary’s candidacy my mind immediately goes to the New York FBI office. They were certainly tacitly aligned with Russia during the election, though they may not have realized it. Even if they had realized it, the degree to which they were willing to cross lines to ratfuck her candidacy indicates they might not have cared.

And even Obama’s reaction is telling. He probably knew that the ratfucking was occurring and either was naive enough to think it had no effect or just didn’t care. Even though his place in history, which he cares about like most Presidents, depended in large part on Hillary winning. Maybe Vlad was right about him; maybe he was just weak.
